Adoption Paid Leave provides up to 6 weeks of paid leave to be used during the adoption process for bonding and caring for the adopted child once placed in the home. Adoption Paid Leave can be used on an intermittent basis and must be used within 12 months of the child’s placement in the home. Adoption Paid Leave is in addition to paid parental leave.
