Every year, we review our benefits to ensure their effectiveness and sustainability. We’re proud to say that our Zoetis benefits remain highly competitive, designed to provide great value to you and your family to help you meet the many demands of life.
For 2026, we’re excited to introduce several meaningful enhancements that reflect our commitment to staying ahead of trends and providing comprehensive, competitive benefits. Changes are described below, which are all designed to give you better access to the care you need while managing costs responsibly. You can also read about these changes in the What’s New for 2026 Guide.
We’re excited to introduce Ilant Health, bringing you access to specialized doctors, dieticians and mental health clinicians who focus specifically on cardiometabolic care — weight management, diabetes and heart health — at no cost you.
Here’s what makes Ilant special:
- Expert care team: Ilant’s board-certified doctors, mental health professionals and registered dietitians specialize in metabolic health and offer their expertise through the convenience of virtual healthcare.
- Personalized attention: Ilant matches each patient with the right treatment plan from day one, accounting for each person’s unique lifestyle and needs. This can include access to medications, such as GLP-1s, surgery or lifestyle programs.
- Peer support: Improving your metabolic health is hard, but it doesn’t have to be lonely. You can access peer support groups plus a peer navigator who has lived experience with obesity.
- Always available: “On demand” means care is available during extended hours, including weekends, with dedicated peer navigator support.
- Better results: Patients typically see better weight loss, blood pressure control and diabetes management when using Ilant’s evidence-based approach. They also experience more energy and greater mental wellbeing.
In addition to obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular health programs, Ilant also offers a Prevention program for those looking to proactively pursue a healthy lifestyle using behavior change, nutrition, and physical activity delivered by clinical specialists.
What this means for you:
- Because we’re introducing Ilant, we are discontinuing our partnership with Teladoc (formerly Livongo). If you currently use Teladoc, Ilant will help set you up with their new platform and introduce you to your care team.
- You may continue to use any devices you received from Teladoc but will no longer have access to record results in the Teladoc app. Ilant can provide new scales and blood pressure monitors if you need them.
- If you still want to receive diabetes test strips and lancets or need a glucometer at no cost, call the UHC Premier Advocate team at 888-470-8079.
- Go to ilanthealth.com/zoetis to get started, or you can reach Ilant’s Member Support team at 866-933-3122 or support@ilanthealth.com with any questions.
We’re partnering with Progyny to provide you with enhanced fertility, family-building, and pregnancy/postpartum support benefits. With concierge support from a dedicated care team, access to care from expert providers and exclusive resources in the Progyny app, Progyny is your new partner across life’s milestones.
What’s enhanced:
- Cycle-based coverage: Instead of a dollar limit, we’re moving to a two-cycle benefit called “Smart Cycles.” With Smart Cycles, you won’t need to track your spending and you won’t run out of benefits in the middle of treatment. Each cycle includes all the tests, procedures, medications and follow-up care you need. It also means you get the same great coverage whether you live in a high-cost or low-cost area.
- Complete services: IVF, egg freezing, adoption, surrogacy and pregnancy/postpartum support are all in one place.
- Adoption and surrogacy assistance: Progyny will now manage this benefit for our colleagues and their families. Whether you’re just starting your research, ready to begin the process or are well on your way in your adoption or surrogacy journey, a Progyny coach can provide counseling, review your options and more.
- Dedicated support: Progyny Care Advocates (PCAs) guide you through every step of your journey.
What this means for you:
- If you’re currently receiving fertility services under the UHC benefit or will have treatment authorized with UHC prior to January 1, 2026, you can continue those services with your current provider. It’s likely your provider is in Progyny’s network.
- If you need treatment beginning after January 1, 2026, you must use a Progyny network provider. Progyny will assist you in finding a high-quality provider.
- Go to progyny.com to learn more. Progyny’s phone line will open for questions and support beginning October 22.
As the popularity of these medications has grown, they have driven our health care costs higher, outpacing other classifications of drugs. We want to make sure everyone who needs them can access them while ensuring they’re prescribed in line with prescribing guidelines.
For Diabetes GLP-1s:
- Starting January 1, 2026, you may need prior approval from CVS Caremark before getting diabetes medications like Ozempic® and Mounjaro® if you’re not currently taking other diabetes medication like Metformin.
For Weight Loss Medications:
- Starting January 1, 2026, you may need prior approval from CVS Caremark before getting weight loss medications like Contrave,® Phentermine,® Qsymia,® Saxenda,® Wegovy,® Xenical,® and Zepbound.®
We’re still covering these important medications if you have prior authorization; we’re just adding a step to make sure they’re used in line with prescribing guidelines. GLP-1 medications can also be accessed through our new Ilant Health benefit without prior authorization for those who meet the prescribing criteria.
What this means for you:
- If you currently take any of these medications, you have until January 1, 2026, to work with your doctor and CVS Caremark on the approval process.
- CVS Caremark will contact you directly with steps you need to take for pre-authorization and to ensure your coverage continues smoothly into 2026.
We’ve updated our prescription drug formulary (the list of covered medications) through CVS Caremark to make sure you have access to the best treatments while keeping the cost of coverage sustainable. We carefully reviewed all changes to minimize any disruption to your care.
Most of your medications will remain unchanged, but a few may require an alternative due to formulary updates, based on effectiveness, safety and cost. Any required changes would be at least equivalent to your existing treatment protocol and medication quality.
What this means for you:
If you’re currently using a medication that will no longer be covered on our prescription drug formulary, CVS Caremark will communicate directly with you on how to transition to another medication.
We’re bringing all your voluntary benefits — legal services, identity theft protection and critical illness insurance — together under MetLife. This means expanded coverage, streamlined pricing and easier enrollment.
What this means for you:
- If you currently have legal services with MetLife, critical illness insurance with Manhattan Life or ID theft protection with ID Watchdog, you must enroll on the Alight system during the Annual Enrollment period to continue coverage with MetLife in 2026. Current elections will not carry over.
- If you currently have critical illness insurance with Manhattan Life or ID theft protection with ID Watchdog, you will have the opportunity to maintain your coverage with these vendors. Payroll deduction will not be available as of January 1, 2026, but you may pay the vendors directly.
- Learn more about the transition to MetLife here.
For 2026, we’re introducing the PrudentRx Specialty Copay Program to help make high-cost specialty medications more affordable. If you take specialty drugs for conditions like cancer, rheumatoid arthritis or other serious conditions, this voluntary program could significantly reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
How it helps:
- $0 copays: Members who join the program typically pay nothing out-of-pocket for eligible specialty medications.
- Easy enrollment: PrudentRx will help you enroll in manufacturer assistance programs and handle all the paperwork.
- Ongoing support: They’ll manage renewals and make sure you have access to your medications.
What this means for you:
If you currently take an eligible specialty medication, CVS Caremark and PrudentRx will contact you with information about enrolling.

As a result of factors like new treatments, increased use of services, and higher medical and prescription drug prices, health care costs are continuing to rise across the country. That means our cost for health care is going up at Zoetis, too.
Zoetis will continue to cover the majority of the overall cost and absorb most of the increase. In fact, the portion of the total cost that Zoetis pays is equal to or higher than the benchmark average for our industry. That said, colleague contributions for medical coverage will increase in 2026. Colleague contributions for dental and vision coverage will remain the same.
We know no one likes to see costs rise, but we’re committed to keeping your contributions as low as possible while maintaining excellent coverage.
What this means for you:
Your monthly contributions will increase for 2026, but the exact amounts depend on which medical plan you choose and your coverage level (individual or family).
Deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums and copayment amounts are increasing for both the Full Access and Health Savers medical plan options to align with new IRS guidelines and keep pace with health care inflation.

Good news! The IRS has increased how much you can contribute to tax-advantaged accounts in 2026 for qualifying health care and dependent care expenses.
Health Savings Account (HSA):
You can contribute a total of up to $4,400 for individual coverage and $8,750 for family coverage to your HSA. This includes both your contributions and contributions Zoetis makes to your account.
- Individual coverage: You $3,800 + Zoetis $600 = Total $4,400
- Family coverage: You $7,550 + Zoetis $1,200 = Total $8,750
Plus, if you’re age 55 or older, you can contribute an extra $1,000.
Your HSA automatically opens when you enroll in the Health Savers plan.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs):
- Health Care FSA: You can contribute up to $3,300 in pre-tax dollars for eligible medical, dental, and vision expenses.
- Limited Purpose FSA: If you’re in the Health Savers plan, you can contribute up to $3,300 in pre-tax dollars for eligible dental and vision expenses.
- Dependent Day Care FSA: You can continue to contribute up to $5,000 for eligible childcare and elder care expenses.
What this means for you:
Every dollar you put into an HSA or FSA reduces your taxable income, which means you pay less in taxes. It’s like getting a discount on your health care and dependent care expenses! And with the HSA, you get a “triple tax advantage” — your money goes in pre-tax, it grows tax free and you pay no taxes when you use it for eligible health care expenses (including deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses).
If you don’t make elections for 2026 benefits by November 5, your current benefit elections will roll over for 2026, except for:
- Contributions to the Health Savings Account (HSA) — You must elect new contribution amounts each year, but you may do so anytime during the year for the HSA.
- Contributions to Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) — You must elect new contribution amounts each year.
- Critical illness insurance, ID theft protection and/or legal services — Because these benefits are unifying under MetLife for 2026, you must make new elections; your current elections will not carry over.
Remember, you will not have another opportunity to enroll until the next Annual Enrollment period (fall 2026) unless you experience a Qualified Life Event that allows for certain enrollment changes during the year.
Because your 31-day new hire enrollment window overlaps with Zoetis’ 2026 Annual Enrollment dates, you need to enroll in benefits for both 2025 and 2026. You must enroll in 2025 benefits first before you will see the option to enroll in 2026 benefits. Call the Zoetis Benefits Center at 1-833-885-5658 if you have questions or need more information.
You are eligible for Zoetis health, insurance and personal benefit plans if you are a U.S. or Puerto Rico colleague working full- or part-time (regularly scheduled to work at least 40% of a standard work week).
Certain dependents are eligible and can be covered under the Zoetis health, applicable insurance, and discounted personal benefits. Eligible dependents include:
- Your same- or opposite-sex spouse or domestic partner
- A child who is:
- yours, your spouse’s, or your domestic partner’s child, up to age 26 and not in active service in the armed forces; or
- under age 26 and required to be covered under a Qualified Medical Child Support Order; or
- not self-supporting due to a mental or physical disability, regardless of age.
Call Zoetis Colleague Services at 1-855-984-7463, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET., if you have questions about our Zoetis benefit plans and programs.
